Description

This highly adaptable hard seeded perennial clover has the ability to persist and thrive under the most hostile of conditions. Palestine’s ability to tolerate salinity, alkalinity and slight waterlogging in soil conditions with its ability to strongly withstand the effects of disease that normally afflict clover, Palestine Strawberry Clover is a great addition to any pasture mix. Once established, Strawberry Clover will persist under heavy grazing pressure more successfully than will white clover. This deep-rooted perennial clover is early to maturity, suitable for sheep, beef/cattle, horse and for your hay and silage needs.

Maturity: late season, maturity flowering well into late spring and summer periods
Soil Type: Wide range of soil types
Inoculant: Group B Rhizobium
Sowing Rate: 1-2 kg/ha (Pure) 2-4 kg/ha (Irrig) 0.5-1 kg/ha (Mixes)
Pest Resistance: Palestine is susceptible to Red Legged Earth Mite (Halotydeus destructor) and Blue Oat Mite (Penthaleus major). Therefore, control is essential at the early seedling stage and appropriate pest management must be implemented as required.
Disease Resistance/Tolerance:
